Synopsis:
In this 1949 Columbia Pictures film, rancher Gene Autry tries to aid neighboring Navajos suffering from malnutrition, but he is opposed by the crafty and crooked trading post proprietor Martin. Soon the Navajo chief is found unconscious with his priceless turquoise necklace stolen, and Lakohna, next in line to be chief, is falsely blamed. Gene and Lakohna combine forces to take down Martin and help the starving tribe. Sheila Ryan, Clayton Moore, and Jay Silverheels round out the cast of this modern story with Old West thrills.
