We’ve helped out a lot of companies over the decades of Rigney Graphics’ existence. While obviously our contributions are just one part of the endeavor, the impact of well-designed and professional print and web materials cannot be overstated. Some of our clients have gone on to become members of the prestigious Fortune 500 — an achievement that Rigney Graphics had a hand in.
We consider our clients’ success to also be our success, and this month we’d like to share some of their stories.
When we first started working with OriginClear back in 2007, the company was called OriginOil. The company was initially focused on extracting oil from algae using a revolutionary process invented by company co-founder Nick Eckelberry.
We helped them with their logos, branding, and website, as well as promotional materials such as trade show banners, presentation folders, mass mailings, ads, explanatory diagrams — even down to stationery and business cards.
As time went on, it turned out that the technology had several applications — among them: water purification.
Based as they are in California, which is currently suffering through an historic drought, and where industrial and agricultural applications are using by far the lion’s share of water, they realized that water reclamation needed to be their focus, and recently embarked on a full-scale overhaul of the company’s name, direction and, of course, branding.
In our opinion, they are stepping up to be the heroes that California — and the world — needs, to help push our civilization toward sustainability and not, y’know, Mad Max.
The New Mission
The new direction is crystallized in their current mission statement: “Water is our most valuable resource, and the mission of the ‘Family of OriginClear Companies’ is to improve the quality of water and help return it to its original and clear condition.” Read more.
Their strategy is to use wholly owned subsidiaries, to provide systems and services to treat water in a wide range of industries, such as municipal, pharmaceutical, semiconductors, industrial, and oil & gas. To rapidly grow this segment of the business, they strategically acquire profitable and well-managed water treatment companies, which allow them to expand their global market presence and technical expertise.
We are excited to share their announcement, which just went up on their website this week:
This is the first realization of their new goals, and the acquired company — Progressive Water Treatment, Inc. — already has a worldwide reach. They’re not stopping there, either: the press release on their website assures investors that OriginClear already has a list of nearly 100 U.S. companies that fit the profile they’re looking for.
We’re proud to have helped OriginClear get this far, and we’re looking forward to working with them toward the great heights of success they deserve.
